Screven County Forestry Scholarship Pageant

This is a preliminary pageant to the Miss Georgia State Forestry Pageant that will
be held in Tifton, Georgia in June 2007.
Preliminary Pageant Prizes and Entry Fees
Age Divisions:
Baby Miss 0- 11 months
Wee miss 12-23 months
Teeny Miss 2-3 years
Tiny Miss 4-6 years Little
Miss 7-9 years
Junior Miss 10-12 years Teen
Miss 13-16 years
Miss 17- 23 years
Hospitality 0-23 years
Baby, Wee, Teeny, Tiny, Little and Junior will be scored a 1 to 10 on personality, beauty,
poise, gown, and overall appearance.
Teen & Miss will be scored 25% on a one minute speech, and 25 % on evening gown,
50% on a five-minute interview, 25% on evening gown.
Note: Miss Division must work, reside or attend school/college in Screven County.
Contestants must complete in the age division they are the day of the pageant, unless
a contestant has a birthday and changes age divisions prior to the state pageant in June, then she moves up. Contestants must
submit a copy of their birth certificate with their application.
Miss Hospitality: Sale Ads. No Entry Fee. Winner will receive the same prizes as all
other queens and will ride on the float and promote forestry along with other queens. Sale ads to your friends or businesses.
Contact Director for more information. Must sale at least 10 ads to be eligible.
Queens in all Divisions will receive their beauty fees paid to state, (Baby and Teeny
Miss Division does not compete at state), a Beautiful Round Crown, Nice Trophy, Satin Monogrammed Banner, and Crowing Pin.
Miss Queen will receive a Cash Scholarship and all other queens will receive savings bonds (all monies will be paid at the
end of their reign). Runners up will receive nice trophies. All Queens in ages 3-23 old ( 0-23 years old for Hospitality) will
represent Screven County at the 67th Miss Georgia Forestry State Pageant held in Tifton, Georgia in June 2007.
All contestants not placing will receive a participation trophy.
Photogenic, Prettiest Dress, Prettiest Smile, Prettiest Hair winners will receive a nice
trophy for each optional.
Entry Fees:
Entry Fees for Baby through Teen Miss are $60.00 for Beauty, Plus one $25.00 (Good Luck
Ad) for the program book, it can be from family, friends or a business.
Entry Fees for Miss are $75.00 for Beauty, plus one $25.00 (Good Luck Ad) for the program,
it can be from family, friends or a business.

Photogenic $10.00
No Refunds unless pageant is cancelled.
All monies will go towards helping pay the queens fees to the State Forestry Pageant,
Scholarship for the Miss Queen and Savings Bonds for the other Queens. People's Choice Winner is the contestant in each
age division that receives the most votes. Votes are $1.00 each and can be collected before and during the pageant up to crowning.
People's Choice winner will receive a trophy and/or nice gift.
Program Books will be available the day of the pageant for a cost of $5.00
each. Each contestant's picture will be in the program book if entry fees
and a wallet size picture are submitted with your application by the DEADLINE.
General Admission is $7.00 per person. Contestants only are admitted FREE!
No Cameras of any kind, video or photo cameras are allowed in the building. There
will be a photographer available at the pageant for pictures.
